Batch Trading Export

The Batch Trading Export screen allows the user to create a trade file to send to the trading platform which will initiate the buy and/or sell of investments for all Plans and all participants. Buys and/or sells are combined into a file called a “batch” file through the Batch Trading Process screen, then the Batch Trading Export screen is used after.

How to access the Batch Trading Export screen

Click the Trading menu, then click Batch Trading Export. The Trade Export Batch Files screen appears.

How to use the Batch Trading Export screen

Use the following process to view data on the Batch Trading Export screen.

1.   Click Trading.

2.   Click Batch Trading Export. The Trade Export Batch Files screen appears.

3.   Enter the date range you want to view the batch reports in the Starting Date and Ending Date fields.

4.   Click Search. All batched reports for that date range appear.

5.   Find the batch file(s) you want to create an export file for and click the Export box for that file.

6.   Click the Create Export File button. This creates the report to send to the trading platform, and a box appears indicating your report is in the Job Queue.

7.   Follow your internal trading processes to send the report to the trading platform.

Explanation of Fields

Field Name	Field Description
Export	Click this box in order to select the batch that you want to create the batch export file.
Starting Date/Ending Date	The date range the batch file was created.
Status	The status of the batch file, and whether the batch file has been Generated, or Not Generated, or if you want to see All files for that date range.
Search	Click this button once you’ve entered all of the search criteria and are ready to display a list of batched reports that are ready to send to the trading platform.
Create Export File	Click this button once you have selected the batch file you want to create the the trading file for. This creates a file of all buys/sells, and that file will be exported to the trading platform to initiate the actual trades of investments.
