Holiday

Use the Holiday option to define dates that are considered holidays by the Third Party Administrator (TPA). Once classified as a holiday, all activity is prohibited on TSM SmartClient, the VRU, and the Internet for the specified date. Each Year the TPA must update the Holiday option for the upcoming year.


How to access this option

On the Setup menu, point to System, and then click Holiday. The Holiday Maintenance window displays.

 

How to create a Holiday record

1.   Click the  icon. A new row is added to the table and TSM SmartClient populates the Holiday Date field with the current date.

2.   You can enter a different Holiday Date manually or use the calendar by:

3.   Clicking the down arrow to display the calendar. The current date has a blue box around it and it is also displayed on the bottom of the calendar box. The selected date is highlighted by a shaded box.

4.   Click a different date to select it. (You can click the left and right arrows to move back one month or forward one month, respectively.) The calendar closes and displays the selected date in the date field.

5.   Enter the Holiday Description (e.g. Christmas).

6.   Click the  icon. The following message displays:

Your changes were saved successfully.

7.   Click OK.

8.   When you are done, click the  icon.

9.   If you are entering more than one Holiday Date, repeat steps 1-3 for each. When you are done, proceed to steps 4 and 5.

 

How to delete a Holiday record

1.   Highlight the Holiday record you want to delete.

2.   Click the  icon. The following message displays:

Are you sure you want to delete this record?

3.   Click Yes to delete it or No to retain it.

4.   Click the  icon to confirm the deletion. The following message displays:

Your changes were saved successfully.

5.   Click OK.

6.   When you are done, click the  icon.

7.   If you are deleting more than one Holiday Date, repeat steps 1 and 2 for each. When you are done, proceed to steps 3 and 4.
