Union Contractors

On the Setup menu, point to Plans, and then click Union Contractors. The Union Contractors window displays.

1. Select the plan.
2. Click the Add icon to add a row for entering a union contractor.
3. Enter the name of the union contractor.
4. Continue adding union contractors, as needed.
5. When you are done, click the Save icon. The following message displays:

   Your changes were saved successfully.

   Click OK.

1. Highlight the Union Contractor record you want to delete.
2. Click the Delete icon. The following message displays:

   Are you sure you want to delete this record?

   Click Yes to delete the union contractor, or No to retain it.

3. Click the Save icon to confirm the deletion. The following message displays:

   Your changes were saved successfully.

   Click OK.

4. When you are done, click the Close icon.
5. If you are deleting more than one Union Contractor record, repeat steps 1 and 2 for each. When you are done, proceed to steps 3 and 4.

1. Position the cursor in the field you want to change.
2. Click in the field with the right mouse button or press the Delete button on your keyboard.
3. Enter the new text.
4. When you are done, click the Save icon. The following message displays:

   Your changes were saved successfully.

   Click OK.

5. Click OK to close the dialog box.
6. If you are editing more than one union contractor, repeat steps 1 - 3 for each. When you are done, proceed to steps 4 and 5.

If you have entered data and realize you want to revert to the original data, click the Undo button. Note: This works only if you have not saved your work.

The Union Contractor information reverts to the last time the Save icon was clicked.

1. Enter a union contractor name in the Union Contractor option.
2. On the Setup > Plans > Plan - Setup tab, select Taft-Hartley from the Plan Type list. TSM.Net selects the Requires Union Contractor Detail check box. The check box appears dimmed and cannot be cleared.
3. On the Setup > Participant > Participant Plan Other Information - Flags tab, select the Union Employee check box. You must do this for each participant who is a union employee.
4. On the Transactions > Contributions > Individual Contributions window, enter the required transaction parameters and click Process. The union contractor detail window will display. Enter the required information and click OK.
5. On the Interfaces > Profile Maintenance > Payroll window, define a profile for payroll import for both Payroll and Payroll 2 to include Union Contractor information. Import a file and verify that the union contractor information is properly recorded for the participant.
