Use the Employer Match option to calculate and generate match transactions, using the information entered in the Setup > Plans > Employer Match Setup option. In addition, you must verify that the following options are set up correctly:
On the Transactions menu, point to Contributions, and then click Employer Match. The Employer Match Contributions window displays.

Select the Pending Transactions check box to include pending transactions in the match calculation.

Unit Date | Enter the date the unit/share price(s) will be used in purchasing unit/shares for the transaction. Unit values are entered in the Inquiry > Mass Unit Value Entry option. Click in the field to display the current date, or use the calendar. | Required |
Fiscal Year | Enter the fiscal year you want this contribution to use. There must be a compensation record for the year entered in the Setup > Participants > Salary option. | Required |

Payroll Date | Enter the date that should be reflected as the Payroll Date on the posted transaction window. This would typically be the date the match was granted by the employer. Click in the field to display the current date, or use the calendar. | Required |

Generate Transactions | Select this check box to have TSM.Net generate contribution transactions, along with a report that lists the participant's social security number, name, and amount of the contribution. If not clicked, only a report will be generated. | Optional |
